Favorite Ballet Storytime Story
My favourite ballet story from our curriculum is Sleeping Beauty. I love how it combines Tchaikovsky’s beautiful music with enchanting characters like the magical fairies. It’s such a dreamy and timeless story that always captures the imagination of our little dancers.
Favorite Ballet Step
One of my favourite steps to teach is the butterfly circle during our opening circle. It’s such a joyful moment where each dancer gets a chance to shine and express themselves. I love seeing how proud and confident they feel when it’s their turn.
Do you have a go-to animal for inspiration during Animal Dances?
I love using ocean animals for inspiration! Moving like we’re dancing like fish or sharks under the sea sparks so much creativity and fun. It encourages fluid, wavy movements and brings a magical underwater world into the studio.
Favorite Thing About Teaching at Tutu School
Tutu School is special to me because it inspires a safe and welcoming space where imagination, creativity, and movement come together. It’s a magical space where every child feels seen, celebrated, and encouraged to explore through twirling and dancing. Being part of that journey is truly heartwarming.
